Thanks to all of you, and your teams and businesses that participated in and contributed to the success of our Toys for Tots West Pasco 2011 Campaign.
We collected and distributed 15,547 toys to 4587 children. The toy totals represent a thirty three percent decrease from last year. We did not have the massive bike year we did last year, but it was still pretty impressive. Due mostly to the passion and efforts of just a few people, we were able to distribute over 200 bicycles to over 200 children who otherwise had no hope of seeing a shiny new bike under the Christmas tree. So bottom line - we were able to give toys to every family that registered directly with us as well as quite a few other charitable organizations. These included, Metropolitan Ministries, Guardian ad Litem, Youth and Family Alternatives, Hope Youth Ranch, A Volunteer Way, Some 1 Cares, African American Club of Pasco County, Boys and Girls Club of Pasco, and Mt Hermon Baptist Church.
